| Obama- Time doesn't count for shit if you have a decent plan... how many years of experience did Cheney and Rumsfeld have together? 46 or something.

| Improvement? McCain? Antonyms.
While I don't necessarily approve of Obama, I think America needs the "change" democrats have been preaching. His policies are quite similar to my way of thinking. I'd say my main motivation is that Obama intends on actually doing something, whereas McCain just generally wishes for things to work on their own with a few tweaks here and there. We've had a Republican try and prove himself in office, and we can see quite well what good it has done. I wish I could vote :/

| Obama. CHANGE. America will need it's confidence as the credit crunch worsens. Obama can deliver. I'm not so sure about him wanting to pull out of Iraq though | |

| Barr. Libertarian Party.
Why? Because too many of our liberties and freedoms have been stomped on and degraded by things such as the patriot act, alien and sedition, etc.
Why? Because the federal government has gone way beyond what it was designed to do. It has consistently trampled on and disregarded the 10th amendment.
Why? Because it makes sense. Too many people pledge their allegiance directly to the federal government, and not to the states they are from. They forget about the people nearby they can help, and allowing local areas to make decisions.
We deserve our freedoms, take 'em back.

He's a libertarian politician that is not a nutjob (just finished reading up on him), and I thought the two were mutually exclusive (sorry Ron Paul). Thanks much, Lint Wad!

| Voting doesn't matter. Obama won't bring any change and McCain won't improve anything. 3rd party candidates will never get voted in. | |

Even if Obama doesn't reform the way he says he will, he won't make America socially backwards in the ways McCain wants. Assuming that they're both lying, cheating, and stealing, Obama is the lesser of two evils, and at least he will vastly improve America's image. Also, Lint, while Libertarianism may be great for you and me, the average American citizen wouldn't be able to deal with the responsibilities associated with the freedoms they would be granted. Even on an economic level, those ideas are wrong; given a Libertarian leader, monopolies would choke startups, slowing innovation and stagnating the market.
