| The other thread died, and I wanted one specifically for recommendations. Anyway, my 5 favorite bands are (in order) - Rage Against the Machine
- Arctic Monkeys
- Red Hot Chili Peppers (older/funkier, and the ballads a little, not the pop)
- Tool
- Nine Inch Nails
